Wounded Warriors United Fund

WWU will help our Heroes by taking them on outdoor adventures, like hunting, fishing, camping. We are always there to help with their PTSD and suicide awareness. WWU will help with their quality of life by helping them with much needed home improvements.

Wounded Warriors United was founded by Thomas Tavtigian also a wounded warrior. While deployed in Iraq Thomas was on a routine patrol, when his vehicle ran over an IED. It is estimate that the pressure plate IED consisted of 75lbs of HME (homemade explosive).

Over the course of the next few years Thomas went thru more than 17 surgeries. During that time Thomas met many wounded warriors. To witness some of these wounded warriors and the injuries they sustained was life changing.

Thomas wanted to give back and still serve in someway. That’s when he came up with Wounded Warriors United. Giving back to those who gave so much.

WWU is always looking for volunteers to help with our events. WWU provide all expenses for our Heroes, this can be costly.  Whether its a outdoor adventure or home improvement, we cover everything. Fundraising is always needed and we need someone who can help with this.  One of our goals is to have a tract of land that we can call home. Where we can build a facility for our Heroes to go.
